Welcome to Living Green, Living Well, a service for Manitobans who are looking for practical, sustainable solutions for everyday living. Living Green, Living Well is a project of Resource Conservation Manitoba. We aim to connect Manitobans with local information and resources wherever possible. Individual habits and choices are part of what makes up a culture. We are here to support Manitobans who want to make choices that are environmentally responsible.
We would like to hear from you!
If you have questions about environmental issues, aren't sure whether to buy organic or conventionally produced food, or want to know where to learn about car-free commuting, Living Green, Living Well is the place to start. Wherever possible we have tried to locate Manitoba-based sources of information. If there's something you don't see here that you'd like to know about, please ask. And if you have tips to share with others, please do pass them along.
About RCM
The Living Green, Living Well site has been developed by Resource Conservation Manitoba. RCM is a non-profit, non-governmental centre for environmental education and sustainable living. Households, workplaces, schools, and communities look to RCM for practical information on active transportation, composting, waste reduction and resource conservation. We work with partners and community networks to identify down-to-earth, everyday solutions to climate change, traffic congestion, overconsumption and waste. Further details about RCM's history and principles are available here.
Please consider supporting RCM.
RCM is a registered charity. If you find the Living Green, Living Well site useful and would like to support our environmental education work, please consider joining RCM (membership is free for individuals) or making a donation either directly or through the secure on-line site, CanadaHelps. Help us reach more Manitobans with information on sustainable living. Thank you!
