Encouraging Climate-Friendly Campus Travel
The Campus Commuter Challenge is an annual sustainable transportation event designed to showcase, reward, and increase the commitment of the students and staff of Winnipeg's post-secondary institutions to methods other than single-passenger motor vehicles to get to and from school. Cycling, walking, taking the bus, carpooling, and any other travel mode you can think of are ways to take the Challenge! Campuses across Manitoba take part. Resource Conservation Manitoba co-ordinates the Campus Commuter Challenge. The next event will take place in September 2009.
